Shipping policy

Shipping & Delivery – Exclusive Artworks

Due to the unique, valuable, and often fragile nature of the artworks presented by Tyara Fine Art Gallery, special shipping conditions apply.

1. Individual Shipping Arrangements

Each artwork requires a tailored shipping plan. Delivery terms, carrier selection, insurance coverage, customs procedures, and estimated timeframes will be discussed and agreed upon individually with the buyer prior to shipment.

2. Country of Origin & Destination

Shipping conditions depend on:

  • The country from which the artwork is dispatched

  • The buyer’s delivery destination

Artworks may be shipped from the artist’s studio, an international partner gallery, or a secure storage facility. Some countries may have export restrictions, cultural heritage regulations, or import licensing requirements. The buyer is responsible for complying with all legal requirements in the destination country.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are not automatically included in the artwork price unless explicitly stated. Final shipping fees will be calculated based on:

  • Artwork dimensions, weight, and fragility

  • Required custom packaging or crating

  • Insurance coverage

  • Shipping origin and destination

A detailed shipping quotation will be provided for buyer approval before dispatch.

4. Insurance & Risk

All exclusive artworks are shipped with 100% art dealer standard insurance, covering the full insured value from dispatch to delivery. Risk transfers to the buyer only upon confirmed receipt of the artwork in good condition.

5. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timelines vary depending on origin, destination, customs clearance, and special handling requirements. Estimated delivery dates will be communicated once shipping arrangements are finalized.

6. Customs, Taxes & Import Duties

For international shipments, all applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and other charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing. Tyara Fine Art Gallery will provide documentation required for customs clearance.

7. Packaging & Handling

Artworks are professionally packaged using museum-grade materials, custom crates, and climate-controlled solutions where required. Fragile, large-scale, or mixed-media works receive additional handling care to ensure safe transport.

8. Buyer Communication

Before shipment, the gallery will:

  • Confirm delivery details and dates

  • Provide tracking information where available

  • Coordinate any special handling requests, installation support, or white-glove delivery

9. Important Notes for Collectors

  • Certain artworks may be subject to temporary export restrictions depending on their cultural or historical significance.

  • Buyers purchasing internationally should verify that local regulations allow importation.

  • All artworks are sold with authenticity certificates and provenance documentation where applicable.
