Visages théâtraux - Hamadi Ben Saad
Hamadi Ben Saad is a Tunisian self-taught visual artist whose work celebrates creative independence and material transformation. Beginning in 1966 and exhibiting publicly from 1976, he has built a prolific practice across painting, collage, assemblage, and installation.
Ben Saad is renowned for using salvaged and industrial materials, turning discarded objects into monumental artworks that challenge notions of value and permanence. His paintings and installations are bold, graphic, and theatrical, moving freely between figuration and abstraction.
Driven by instinct and experimentation, he works across mediums without compromise, creating art that is both physically intense and emotionally immediate. Exhibiting internationally for decades, Ben Saad remains a singular voice in contemporary Tunisian art, transforming space and material into meaning.
